Individual restaurants and stores on Postmates may have free delivery available on select orders from time to time. You can also save on delivery fees by signing up for Uber One. This paid membership program ($9.99/month or $99.99/year) gives you $0 delivery fees and 10% off eligible orders at many restaurants and stores. Look for the Uber One icon to determine eligibility for the restaurant or store. Note that additional order fees other than the delivery charge may still apply.

Delivery fees depend on the merchant’s status with the company. Orders from Partner Merchants incur a $0.99-$3.99 delivery fee, while all others have a $5.99-$9.99 delivery fee. There’s also a variable percentage-based service fee that will be applied to your purchase. That amount depends on your order amount. You’ll always be able to review the fees associated with your delivery on the checkout screen.

Postmates Unlimited, the merchant’s free delivery program, transitioned to Uber One in late 2023. The program still offers free delivery on eligible orders and other savings opportunities. Customers with an existing Postmastes Unlimited subscription were automatically updated to an Uber One subscription.

Uber One is the closest thing to a rewards program Postmates offers. Uber One replaced the Postmastes Unlimited program in late 2023, offering customers $0 delivery fees and a 10% discount on eligible orders. Uber One members can also save on Uber rideshares. It costs $9.99/month or $99.99/year to join, but you can often take advantage of a free trial period.

While returning food isn’t very practical, Postmates recognizes that sometimes deliveries go wrong. If an item delivered isn’t correct – like onion rings instead of fries – customers get a 50% refund on the item. Missing items are refunded in full. Other issues, like missing orders, can also be refunded. Tip: All refund requests must be submitted within 72 hours of the order’s completion in order to be eligible for a refund.
